Jennifer Aniston, who shares the fountain of youth with Jennifer Lopez and Pharrell, held an epic 50th birthday bash over the weekend.
Unfortunately, Aniston is quite anti-social media, meaning we have little to no evidence of what happened inside the star-studded 'do.
Last summer the Dumplin' star told , and social media specifically, 'Honestly, when I look around and see people constantly on their phones, I feel like we're missing so much. And it's something we created.'
Continuing, 'I equate it to the tobacco industry; it's hard enough being a kid growing up and becoming who you are and finding yourself but now you have social media and you've added this extra pressure of seeing if someone likes or doesn't like something you did. We're creating these man-made challenges and it's a such a drag.'
So wise, so cool... so annoying for us.
Thankfully, however, Jen's good friends Kate Hudson and Gwyneth Paltrow (name a more L.A. trio...we'll wait) totally broke the ban and we will be forever grateful.
Hudson posted this adorable gif of the friends, captioning it, 'Love these ladies 💕Celebrated this beauty last night ✨Happy Bday JA! We all love you sooo!'
Whilst Paltrow shared this set of snaps, captioning it, 'Happy birthday (last night and tomorrow) to our ray of sunshine, example of perpetual goodness. We love you so much and you make 50 LOOK 🔥'
Katy Perry, clearly chagrined she played by the rules by not taking to Instagram on the night, commented on new mum Hudson's post, 'NO SOCIAL MEDIA', only for Kate to reveal she did, in fact, get permission from the Friends star herself.
Now all we need is footage of and our lives are complete...
